We offer a wide range of Hiking trails arround the Alpujarras, in the south side of Sierra Nevada, Contraviesa, Mountain range between Alpujarras and Castell de Ferro (located at the seaside) and any where arround Granada (La Zubia, Guadix, Northside of Sierra Nevada, Guajares, etc.).
We can organize custom made Trails according your requirements of time, effort and personal visit interests. We offer a wide variety of trails; landscaping site seeing trails; Alpujarra Villages; Cured Ham producing towns; Hiking through Mulhacen (3.482) and Veleta (3.384); Sierra of Lujar Hike (1.900) just by the sea; Mediterranean trails or forests. In most trails we will be able to see an extense amount of fauna such as Iberian goat, Rabbits, Partridges, Raptors, Birds, etc.
This type of activity is mostly recomended from september to june, since we have excellent climate conditions through the year. Trails within Sierra Nevada Park will be done on summer months since during winter are covered with snow. Please see below a map of trails through the south side of Sierra Nevada Park.
Trail Arenas de Trevenque - Walk / MTB
Here you may view a trail that could be made walking or moutain biking along "Arenas del Trevenque". It is about 20 minuts from Granada and one hour from Castell deFerro. It is 12 km length, 4 to 6 hours and a middle difficulty level. The track runs along the sides of Trevenque pick and valleys that belong to "Sierra Nevada" range of mountains. This trail is open through all the season offering exceptional views of dolomite formations, Sierra Nevada, and all the sorrounding valley of Granada as well as a great contact with nature. Here you may see some pictures with a group of friends, Laura, Nuria, Angel and Javi. Hope you enjoy them.
