EKOMOTRIL wants to motivate your visit to our region, Motril & Gualchos Castell de Ferro, are located on the coast of Granada, south of Spain. We are granted with Sub-Tropical climate through the year. But most exciting, we are surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea and two mountain ranges, "Contraviesa" and south face of "Sierra Nevada" were the Alpujarras are located. We also find the Spanish highest pick Mulhacen" (3.500 mts).



From Castell de Ferro we suggest the opportunity to practice adventure sports all year round; Exiciting Mountain-Bike rides with breathtaking views; sea kayaking through our cristal clear rocky beaches; hiking and trailing; cross country snowshoe, crampons or skying; snorkle or scuba dive on the cliffy seasides; fishing or just relaxing on our clearwater coves enjoying fresh fish dinners.



If you are interested on adding some activity or short trails when visit the Alhambra and Albahicin in Granada. We would like to serve you and inform you if you choose to visit our region.  We could give you suggestions in organize adventure trips for any kind of group that is interested to come and visit Spain, Granada or the Tropical Coast.  If you are interested to visit the alhambra and Albaicín in Granada but you would like to take a day for visiting the impressive nature surroundings of the province of Granada, then you may ask anything you need;  Even if you are not interested on Mountain Bike, we encourage you to visit the site for Mountain Bike trails were you will be able to see pictures from our region.

Time Out / Adventure Categories

Hiking:
We help you organize custom made hikes depending on your interests.  We will recomend you a wide variety of possibilities and you will decide the length, effort, desire views, hights and even micro climates.

Mountain Bike:  
We offer a great viriety of trails that could be accompained with a truck providing food and liquid as well as logistic support in case of need.  We can adequate trails to different physical levels, but not because of that you will be deprived from great views and descends.  We can developed trails through Castell de Ferro, the Contraviesa, Sierra Nevada, Alpujarras or any other place such as Cabo de Gata one of the most beautifull Natural Parks, only a little bit over an hour from Castell de Ferro.

Sea Kayak:
We will organize sea kayak through our cliff sea sides, rocky beaches and clistal clear waters.  We can take snorkle equipment to just have great fun.


Scuba Dive: 
With our partner Aquamarina we will take you to the depths with brand new equipment, guaranteeing personal safety and compromising with great divings.

Cros country Snow, Sky, Snowshoe:  
We will organize tours through the Poqueira Valley located on the south face of Sierra Nevada.

Accomodation: 
We could suggest lodgging while you stay with us.  Deppending on your wishes we could find you Rural lodgging (casas rurales), hotels, hostals, apartments for rent or camping possibilities.  If you preffer getting lost for a few days, there is full equipped lodging up in the mountains with great views and hiking trails.

Interpreting Services:
We offer you interpretting services if required while you stay with us.
